  Tremeneghi is one of a pair of villas built in 2003 within the quiet waterfront area of Calis, the villa is notable for the generous size and height of the rooms, the high quality marble flooring throughout and the attractive ship-lap styling of the exterior walls.
  
  The property comprises:
  
  • Bedrooms: Two doubles and a twin all with air-conditioning and balconies with views out over Fethiye bay and over to Fethiye itself.
  
  • Bathrooms: Upstairs; bath and shower, Downstairs; wet room and shower, toilets and sinks in both.
  
  • Kitchen: Fully equipped with gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and full width marble worktop and sink surround. Storage cupboards sit above and below the worktop space and contain all necessary cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils.
  
  • Lounge: Two sofas and two single chairs, glass topped coffee table and a corner unit with television and media centre. The table and chairs are of the plastic garden variety and are often left on the veranda for dining al fresco.
  
  The entrance hall, stair well and landing are all cool airy spaces that feature crafted ironwork handrails similar to those that also surround the veranda and protect the downstairs windows.
  
  Building:
  
  The villa is one of a pair built by the owner of a local marble quarry and as such makes extensive use of some of the highest quality marble you will find.
  The bathrooms, kitchen and fixtures and fittings were completed by myself, and as a designer I would like to think add a level of quality and sophistication not seen in the majority of villas you will find for sale. All of the windows have integral roller shutters which are great for keeping rooms cool in the summer or just keeping the light out for that extra little lie-in.
  
  The large veranda is surrounded by mature grape vines and a riot of colourful bougainvillea with the garden that is mostly laid to local riverstone paving being ringed by fruit trees and roses.The villa is 125m2 on a plot of 250m2 with the front door facing south and the veranda and garden facing west.
  
  Area:
  
  This is a quiet and very desirable, cul de sac corner of Calis beach, on the waterfront next to the wildlife sanctuary.
  This area is well established and most of the villas have mature trees and gardens, (This is not part of a mono-culture tourist enclave nor is it surrounded by building sites). The neighbours are mostly permanent residents and very friendly, being split about 70/30 between Turkish and British.
  
  Calis beach front is just a 3 minute walk away, around the edge of the bird sanctuary, there is a small supermarket 1 minute walk and a water theme park just 4 minutes walk away.
  Fethiye is a 10 minute drive away and the famous lagoon of Olu Diniz is a further 20 minute drive. My favourite mode of transport when I have been there is actually bicycle, with Fethiye and the rest of the local coast being a pleasant level ride along the water front.
  
  The villa has been rented as a holiday let.
